301 and Counting

"I have a prayer ministry," he said. "I pray for people around here."

I told David appreciated that, and he paused for a moment.

Suddenly he did a Columbo slap to the forehead. "Heh. I don't pray for YOU. Let me do that. Put your name on a sticky note and I'll pray for you."

As I wrote my name on the paper, he looked at me and said, "I probably pray for 300 people. Now it'll be 301. What difference does one more make?"

I smiled.

"There WILL be a difference. For me."
